Tree of Strings - A 3-day Music Festival

Join Tree of Strings for their inaugural 3-day festival in Abbotsbury between 3 and 5th July 2026.
The festival, curated by Artistic Director, Adrian Brendel is a eclectic mix of classical, folk, contemporary and jazz, performed by internationally recognised musicians alongside our exceptional young artists. Plus music-making workshops, film screenings, improvisation and more, all against the backdrop of beautiful Abbotsbury.
Some highlights include:
- an electrifying night of tango, jazz and samba
- a piano recital of Beethoven and Brahms from Leeds International Piano Competition Bronze medallist Khanh Nhi Luong
- an afternoon of improvisation in the beautiful hilltop chapel
- Mendelssohn’s thrilling octet from the combined festival musicians including Adrian Brendel
- an evening of performance fusing jazz, folk and classical with Trio Miré
